During the course of my preparation for Indian Economic Service examination, I felt that there remains a significant gap between what candidates pursue and what is demanded by the examination. One of the reasons behind this mismatch is the scarcity of proper guidance and resources. ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this platform.I have done my MA in economics from IGNOU and BA ( Economics, Statistics and Mathematics ) from Nagpur University. Although I am eligible for this exam but will I be competitive enough with respect to other candidates ? Does a background in economics from better college matter in interview rounds for final selection ? Or do I need to study MA in Economics again from a reputed University / in regular mode and then think of appearing for this exam. I am very much confused ,Sir. Please help
Also Sir , please tell the strategy you followed for this exam ? Any notes that you can suggest to follow .And how can we access these notes ( Axiom's notes for IES ) for those who can't attend coaching ? How should students not joining any coaching and also with MA degree from distance learning mode preapare for this exam.
